Nails Inc. The New White

Nails inc recently released the New White collection. A collection of four off white nail polishes and something everyone needs for spring and summer!

The New White collection has a pink, a peach, a beautiful mint green and a grey/purple shade. The two I have are Swan Street (left) and White Horse Street (right) and they're pretty much all I've had on my nails this past month.

Swan Street is the mint and although it does take three coats as it is a bit streaky I still love it. White Horse Street only needs two coats and is so flattering on the nails, both of them are and they both last so well without chipping.

They may be pretty expensive for just nail polishes at £14 but I think they're well worth the money and I'm so tempted to pick up Whitehall, the peachy shade of the collection.

NOTD: Rose of Light and My Vampire is Buff

After just getting back from holiday my nails needed a bit of tlc, and fresh manicure. My Vampire is buff is an off white cream, and looks great on all skin tones, especially of you have a tan, and Rose of Light is a mixture of yellow and rose gold circular glitter, with small squares of iridescent, holographic glitter, it's beautiful!

It's just what my nails needed after a week away.

What have you got on your nails now?

Spring Nail polish picks

Spring means it's time for pinks and purples. Out with dark colours and in with the bright.  Here's a few of my favourites for this spring.

NOTD: Chasing Rainbows

I recently treated myself to a new glitter polish, OPI's Chasing Rainbows was a polish I knew I needed the moment I saw swatches to it, and it didn't let me down.
It's a dupe for Rainbow Connection from the previous Muppets Christmas collection, and is packed full of multi-sized rainbow coloured glitter.

I applied one coat over OPI Live.Love.Carnaval from the new Brazil collection and I love it!

My Perfect Christmas Nail Picks

This Christmas I have found the two perfect festive glitter polishes, both of which I have been wearing almost non-stop this month.

The first is from OPI's recent Mariah Carey Holiday collection. My Favorite Ornament is a white gold, small cut glitter, which is opaque in two or three coats. This polish looks even better on than in the picture, and I catch myself staring at my nails every time I wear it, and it lasts for almost a week with minimal chipping on me.

The second nail polish was from last years winter collection. Essie's Leading Lady is a red glitter with a darker red base. The only down side to this polish is that the jelly-like base of the polish can lead to it peeling and chipping after a few days on the nails.
I hope everyone is having a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Nail of the Day: Models Own Champagne

Looking through my nail polish collection, I came across an old favourite I hadn't used for a very long time. Models Own Champagne is a beautiful light, champagne gold foil nail polish, which is opaque in only two coats.
artificial light, 2 coats

This polish applies smoothly to the nails, and lasts well with minimal chipping. Definitely a great, festive colour, perfect for the lead up to Christmas.
