I recently went for afternoon tea with a friend up in London. I've walked past BB Bakery a few times and have always wanted to try it.
BB Bakery is located in Covent Garden on the corner if Chandos Place (just up off The Strand). It offers a wide variety if cakes and pastries, and afternoon tea for just £26 per person or champagne tea for £33 per person. I'd recommend booking a table if you want to go, as it did get busy.
My friend and I booked afternoon tea for the two of us, which consisted of a selection of sandwiches, and delicious mini quiches. Then two tiers a miniature cakes including mini lemon meringue pies, chocolate brownies, macarons, and miniature cupcakes. All followed by scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, with an assortment of teas and coffee available.
It was definitely an indulgent treat, but would without a doubt make a great gift, or day out for friends or family!
