Summer Nail Polish Picks

Summer for me means bold and bright colours, so in summer I tend to stick to neons and creme finish polishes rather than glitters. Here are a selection I plan on getting a lot of use out of this summer!

China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy is an amazing neon coral, this does however have a satin/matte finish, and does chip fairly easily, but top coat can fix both these problems.

Barry M Greenberry is a neon auqa colour with a gel like finish, this is the same as Topshop's Green Room, but the formular is much better!

Essie Where's my Chauffeur is a mint green/ turquoise, however is is much brighter than the ever popular Essie Mint Candy Apple, so more of a summer colour.

OPI Live.Love.Carnaval is a bold coral creme polish, this one is a really good sandal colour as most pinks and corals are.

Essie Watermelon is an amazing watermelon pink red, exactly as it's name describes.

OPI Hotter Than You Pink is literally a Barbie pink! This hot pink has an almost iridescent purple shimmer to it that looks amazing in the sun.

Essie Bikini So Teeny is a beautiful shimmery periwinkle blue/purple, which has been a summer staple for me since last year.

Essie Fiji is a white bases pale pink, this is opaque in two coats and looks amazing with a tan, and makes you looked tanned if you don't have one.

Essie Splash of Grenadine is one of the most unique nail polishes I've ever seen, and I always get so many compliments on it every time I wear it! It's a beautiful magenta, and fits well with the current orchid pink trend.

OPI A Roll in the Hague is one of the best bright and bold orange nail polishes out there!

OPI Life Gave Me Lemons is a bright neon yellow, with a slight lime undertone in some lights, this is very flattering on must skin tones and has the effect of making you look more tanned than you actually are.

YSL Bleu Majorelle is a luxurious royal blue, Essie's Butler Please is very similar to this, and it's just such a beautiful bright blue.

OPI You are so outta Lime is from the OPI neon collection but I'm not sure I'd call it a neon. It's the green I'm wearing in these pictures, and is probably my favourite colour from the OPI neon collection this year, as it's so surprisingly flattering.

OPI Down to the Core-al is a neon coral with a pink duo-chrome iridescence to it, and is definitely one to get your hands on this summer!

What's your mush have nail polish this summer?
